Limitations with Phantom 2? (gimbal ctrl, photogrammetry)

Hi
If I'm reading the manuals correctly, the P2 can only do 16 waypoints, is there any way to have more points?
More confusing is the difference in the manual between the P2 and Naza-M:
Naza-M/Naza-M v2 can do F Channel Controller, General Purpose Servo Action and Photogrammetry Tool while Phantom 2 can't.

I was under the impression that Phantom 2 uses the Naza-M.
Is manual is correct?

F Channel Controller should allow for controlling the Zenmuse?
Any other way to control the gimbal while using ground station?

Just read that if I do switch to the regular Naza-M v2 I'd lose the smart battery functionality :/
