Just recieved my new p4pv2 , question hopefully its not to much of a dumb one

I had been flying my phantom 4 pro that i crashed for over a year and a half using DJI go 4 . my question is now that i have my new phantom 4 pro v2 do i need to uninstall the dji go app and reinstall it fresh to use with my new phantom or will it be ok just as long as i am updated to the latest go app? Thanks in advance.

No. You can use the existing DJI GO 4 installation.

Thank you msinger, i was just wondering if it would take me through the new set up and product registration if i used the one i had been using with my p4p

You really should give Litchi a try. It flies great with my new P4Pro V 2.0.

Thanks Jim ill give it a try, i use to use it back when i had my phantom 2 vision on a android tablet haven't tried it in awhile

Yep I’ve flown it since GO kept crashing in November of 2016. Never had a problem. I love the Mission Hub and the ability to plan and modify a mission on computer and then fly it from my iPad!
