Hi gang,
I'm a pro photographer since 1988, so I do know cameras and images and lens flare. I picked up a P2V a few days ago and on my first test shoot I got some pretty weird dark horizontal arc lines in my images that face the sun. I've seen similar lens flare on a couple of my tilt-shift lenses, they were straight lines though.

I've attached a sample image to this post.

- Is this lens flare or an issue with my camera?
- Is there a way to fix this? I've seen lens hoods and filters.

It doesn't seem to occur when facing away from the sun.

Thank you for your time.

Those are shadows from your propellers. There are some indepth threads on here somewhere telling why and how it happens. Search propellor shadows or prop shadows.

One thing I don't care for on the vision camera is that polished metal ring around the lens. I would want that blacket out. Maybe catching some light. A hood would help but not sure how it would work with the wide angle.
