I have a dedicated iPad mini 2 with my p3a.My problem is that in hot weather and after 10' of flying it overheats and starts to lag, almost 5".(Don't mention the terrible screen in sunny weather)
Will an iPhone 6/7 Plus 5.5" will react better?

Thanks

The mini would be less prone to overheating due to its physical size. The heat has a larger area to dissipate.
Get a Matt screen protector, as really helps cut own the reflections.

How hot are you talking about. I am in Texas we're it get to 100 or more. I use an iPhone 6s and a mini iPad 4 with cellular and have never had a problem with overheating.

Maybe the iPad mini 2 CPU is running at 100 plus percent while the iPad mini 4 having a faster CPU is running at a much lower percentage and being effected more in the heat?

10 first minutes is working fine....then the lag starts. And i have a second battery waiting.Even if it is 30-34 celcius here the problem is shown after 10'
