I screwed up.
I recently received my new Phantom 2 Vision+, and have had one or two successful flights. However I noticed that I lose most of my satellites when I turn video recording on. After some searching, a common fix is the well known foil mod. So I got some aluminum tape and set off to remove the top of the case from the Phantom, but had difficulty getting the last screw out on the edge of the arm.
Long story short, I stripped it. Like, really stripped it. The head is basically now just a smooth hole. I have tried everything to get this screw out but have had no luck, and I don't think I'll be able to return it (due to the GPS issue) with the ruined screw.
So basically, I'm screwed. Does anyone know a trick to getting this screw out? Am I doomed forever to live with a faulty Phantom thanks to a single, tiny screw?
