I have a question about wiring

I crashed my P3 Standard the other day and camera came loose which I have reattached but the black wire ripped off at the connector going into the Gimbal. First, what does this wire do and how do I reconnect the tiny gold connector to the wire. Can I fly without this wire connected? Everything seems to work properly without it connected.

Seems it is the osd ground or something similar. Search for post by user wolfvesfc, he had the same issue I believe and had it reheated and soldered.

Thanks for the info. I did solder the black wire to the connector and reconnected it and now everything is working fine.
