Today I tried to take off from a quite big field. There are trees around, but the fields is still quite huge. It took around 6-8 minutes to initially locate more than 6 sats.

Then I tried flying from a schoolyard. (no kids there, relax. It's vacation) So it's rather big. On one end - very tall trees; and on the other the school - 5 floors. But i placed it in the centre. It never got to better than 1 red (6 sats).

Is my GPS broken? Or is it like that? You can take off ONLY in nature on a huge humongous field?

Do you live in the arctic? Sats are lower in the sky further north and get cut off, less to choose from too.

Uh, no. Europe, Bulgaria. Or maybe some days are worse to fly on?
