The gimbal settings have what is called AEC "Adaptive Error Control" built into the firmware for p2v+. the software will not let you adjust the gimbal on the phantoms 2 v+. the only way to adjust these settings is to dump the bin of the firmware and modify it that way (seek a pro coder for this). otherwise their are a couple things that could be causing the gimbal to act up, including a bad ribbon cable, a bad potentiometer, a bad IMU calibration or even the gimbal motor shaft itself being bent where it goes into the brushless motor. The smallest bend in these will cause the camera to stabilize and seem to work, but it will sing and vibrate ever slightly. with the motor shafts spinning freely in the magnet, can also cause a problem. some people use locktight on lose shafts to the magnet which is the circular device on the motor to rebind it then rebuild it with the pot level starting from the bottom part of the camera up. this fix is usually a result from a crash or very hard landing where the camera takes impact shock.also your arms could be bent, which would require replacement as these are very carefully balanced and made in such a way that bends at 2 degrees can make a HUGE difference in the AEC algorithms. the motors on these are not that strong, they are built for precision, which is why the gimbal system is so maticulouse in its build.

Short answer, you may have to grab the rear magnet VERY CAREFULLY, with not to much pressure, and realign the cameras shafts to be level. also be sure that the screws the individual legs grab to are on the flat side and tight and that their is no resistance against any of the axis's

this is with the assumption that you crashed it
