Gimbal not functioning

    I just installed my H3-3D gimbal and GoPro Hero 3+ Black on my new Phantom 2, the gimbal doesn't activate at all, but the camera has a red light - any thoughts on why? Assistant software doesn't recognize the gimbal either.

    This can normally be resolved by:

    1. jumper the 2 dots in the picture below using tweezers.
    2. power on phantom
    3. remove tweezers when you see red and yellow LED on together.
    4. connect to assistant software to re-upgrade.

    Thanks odlaen, resetting the gimbal is definitely a 2 person task so I took it back to Hobby Action - great bunch of guys and customer service, they actually used a short length of copper wire and held them in place with thumbs, it did reset, we did the upgrade and still nothing, they replaced the gimbal and it fired right up, so it was simply a defective gimbal. Now to fly!
