I love watching the reactions of people as they see the green/red lights at night. some think they just saw a UFO LOL.
Haha, Awesome!I flew mine a week before Xmas as our city puts Santa on the fire truck and is escorted by multiple decorated police/EMS/Fire vehicles in a parade where Santa hands out candy canes to the children. This goes over a week and they do sections of the city each night.
Any who I flew the bird up so I can see where Santa was as they just have a map with what section on what day between 6-9pm.
While on my flight there was a large group of neighborhood kids at the top of the hill/street. They thought my drone was an elf and it was named "chippie" the elf. So I flew it around them, did circles, fly bys, ect.. kids loved it!!
I agree with SS220, very cool photo. It kinda of reminds me that I initially bought the P3P to use as a photography tool, to get those shots from angles I just couldn't get my DSLR into. And yet I've found that I almost exclusively use it for video, with an occasional photo every now and then. And I still suck at video lol. Maybe I need to start getting back to why I got the Phantom in the first place. Shots like this one.I was recently flying around a hay baler just before dawn and I'm making a point of going back and finding the farmer as I don't want hime to think it was a UFO flying around him!..See attached pic.....
Video is too hard for me, thats why I stick to taking stills!I agree with SS220, very cool photo. I'm using the Pro....however from what I've read the camera in the Pro and Adv is the same for stills (please correct if I'm wrong).I love how crisp that photo is. Are you using Advanced or Pro? I'm sorry if you said it, if you did, I missed it.
