Just purchased the new app, very nice. New version (3.1) is to be released shortly and it has flight log as well. No need for separate flytrex any more.
I just posted a suggestion to the dev's FB page. It would be really nice to be able to touch the compass on the right map Nav pane and have it shift view to "FPV View" like a car's navigation app's "Heading up". The model red arrow would be at the bottom with heading up and the map would rotate and match the FPV camera view.

The green line is really clever! It helps you point your transmitter directly at the model which is important with these high gain directional antennas. The line will turn yellow and then red as you point the TX away from the model. You can see this line change colors in the video when it begins to point away from the model.
This uses the compass in your Phone/Pad.
i do have one more question is their a limit of distance in this app like the original dii app since when u go for long distance after a certain distance it goes to n/a i hope we can measure distance with out any restrictions in this app

It helps us to orient the tx antennae towards the quad.
Different color also tells us the required wifi strength.

Just updated to 3.01 you have to in-app purchase the data logger, but for a few dollars you get a very clever app. has alot of info on it you can replay your flights along with all relevant data. The WiFi wand is brilliant for longer distance flights. Well worth the money.
