Fly aways? Pilot error?

R1 Phantom, is that GPS tracking working well for you?

I have well over 300 flights on my P2.
Had 2 "fly away" issues:
1st was the 1st day I owned it, flight #3. 100% pilot error. Lost orientation and dive-bombed into some sage brush. No real damage.
2nd was the 2nd day I owned it, flight #5. 100% pilot error. accidentally hit the switch to turn off GPS right after takeoff. Went nuts in the wind, switched GPS back on and immediately recovered.
I'm sure there are real flyaways, but i have yet to experience any operational problem I haven't created on my own. thats not to say I haven't wrecked it 3 or 4 times, and maybe last week I crashed her into a river, but she survived relatively unscathed.

I think a flyaway isn't when you lose control, but more when the phantom is controlling itself without any input from the pilot.
