Find my drone vision app.....

....just so I am clear on this. The app shows where the drone thinks the home point is and also (if your phone GPS is on) where you are in relation to that point. Perhaps helpful if the drone flew to a different home location than where you expected it to go. But of no use at all if it is a flyaway. :(

Drones are what the government uses in war and spying.

The Find My Phantom 2 Vision feature goes be the last transmitted gps signal. When your app shows Lost Connection on the screen would be your last transmitted signal.
 
Thanks Flynfrank, that makes some sense. It might be useful then if the drone landed when it lost the signal. A little more useful than I thought.

OK, I will quit saying "drone". What should I be calling them?

Actually you call what you want to call them. I use the term Quad. Or in this forum I say vPlus a lot as well. To my neighborhood I say quadcopter.
