Faa Registration Sticker

Hi just wondering where did you put your FAA sticker at? Why do most want to hide theirs in battery compartment & does FAA sticker have to be a certain size? Thanks

Only has to be legible, visible from the out side or accessible without the use of tools (e.g. Inside the battery compartment. I printed mine on a double of stickers and put one on top of the shell along with the 'if found call xxxxxx, Reward' sticker. Put the other on the battery just in case they got separated. When I registered them for commercial use, I put the N numbers on the outside of each rear arm.

On my standard, I put it on the underside near the battery. On my professional, I put it on the landing gear.

I put mine on the side underneath. If anyone complains that I am too close or filming them too personally I can just tell them to call the FAA and give them the number. If they can't read it, I am not too close..

On the P3A vision module.
I had one on the top 'shelf' above where the battery goes but DJI replaced the shell and I haven't installed a new one there.
At least I know I have the same vision assembly!
