Save your money.
It only works at very low speed anyway.
Looks like a copy of the Panoptes

it is actually made by panoptes. I was thinking of this to use while doing inspections of buildings. (exterior walls and such)

NH Phantom - the eBumper works great against solid surfaces like walls and other infrastructure. We are always working to improve the performance of the eBumper, and in our latest round of testing we can prevent collisions up to speeds of 2.5 m/s. Unless you plan to inspect your building at high speed, the eBumper should be more than sufficient to protect your aircraft from collisions during the operation.

How well does it work in avoidance of tree trunks? What is the smallest diameter object it can detect and avoid? I think it is a great idea.

I have an eBumper4 on my Phantom 2, but I lost the flight manual! (I still have the installation manual).
Anybody have a copy they can scan/email/sell me?

Thanks for the response! What I actually have is a third party add-on for a Phantom 2 Vision, called the eBumper4, made by a company called Panoptes that is now out of business. But I appreciate the effort!
