DJI suggesting a repair procedure ...for what I ask?

So I recently upgraded the firmware and all. Then my compass would never recalibrate...then the IMU gave me fits but finally did...then the gimbal. Still struggling with the compass and the tech support at DJI went straight to send it it.... I have not had any issues until now with the aircraft, software or anything.

Anyone else think this is some BS?

are you still under warranty? If so I would just send it in, DJI does not usually say to send it in unless it really needs it since it will cost them money.
