Dji phantom 3 isn't working

Hello I fly a dji phantom 3 standard
I went away for the weekend to fly the drone wouldn't go over 30m and somthing like 50m distance
I checked settings
beginner mode is off
Max distance is off
Max flight alititude is at 120m
Once I hit 30m altitude a warning comes up "max flight altitude reached, check main controller settings" I check and there nothing there unusual. So today I tried again out the front of my house it went as far as I wanted it worked!
So I went out for the day to fly it.
It did the same thing as before and wouldn't go far so I came home and tried it and it worked again. I never changed any setting throughout this time can someone help

If you are not in a NFZ, you may want to check you are not signed out in the app (if you are, there will those restrictions you have).
First screen of app > me > top right hand corner, tap gear icon. Scroll down and you will see if you are signed in or not. If you are signed in, sign out, delete the app, reinstall the app and sign back in with your username/password (you need wifi to do this).
There are a number of threads regarding this issue with the new DJI go updates.
