DJI GO vs PILOT app and second : transfer rate saving

Question :

As usual manual is old and not updated for later apps etc.

I read that the Pro uses DJI Pilot APP ... but later I understand is DJI GO 'before 4' ....

Is there any advantage to drop back to DJI Pilot APP ?

Second :

I have moved transfer rate from the Automatic 6mbps to tghe slower better 4mbps .... in CUSTOM HD menu .... but cannot see anywhere to SAVE the setting ...
Does it auto save this setting or must it be adjusted each time I start up ?
My Nexus 7 Vers 2 tablet works better with the lower rate.

What you read is wrong.
The P2V+ used the Pilot app and the P3 series always used the DJI Go app
The Pilot app will not work for the P3.

Strange .... I have the Phantom 3 Professional Manual in front of me ... all 59 pages of it ...

Page 35 onwards specifically names DJI PIlot APP .....

You're using an old manual. You can download the current manual from the P3P downloads page.

Just been flying again in my usual haunt where my Standard did 2km with Argtek ... all I got with thisP3P ... lost signal even at take-off let alone at real distance ...

Screen just locks up ....

Terrible.

Yesterday all seemed to sort out ... today back to rubbish again.
