DJI GO Activation

Hi,

I've been searching everywhere and was wondering if anyone has found a solution to this issue. I recently sold my phantom 3 and the person who bought it from me says they cannot activate the drone through the DJI go app because the drone is pre-registered.

Is there anyway the drone can be re-registered? I assume there has to be a way, being that hundreds of these things are sold online every day pre-owned.
 
This was raised back in Aug and the reply they had from DJI at the time went along the lines of.......

Mike, we can only register the unit to us once. Since you are the second owner you won't be able to change the registration or register it under your account.

The thing that you can change is the log in ID on the DJI GO APP.

The registration process happens after purchasing the drone and the first owner already did that. Registration process is only done once in every unit.
