Hello,
I recently finished reassembling my crashed Phantom 4 Pro+ Obsidian drone (the one with the integrated monitor on the controller). Everything works except for the video signal to the controller. It shows "no signal" at the upper left corner of the screen, and what would normally be video from the camera is just a grey background.
I noticed during assembly that the replacement gimbal cable I purchased had an extra little tab that did not have anything to plug into. I taped it up to keep it from touching metal and finished up the assembly. After seeing that video did not work, and upon closer inspection, I can see that my original (torn) cable does not have this extra tab. ...I am not getting any video signal on the controller. Everything else works, even movement of the gimbal with the controller sticks, gimbal calibration, etc. The camera even seems to stay pointed at whatever it is focused on when moving the drone around.
My thought is that the one on the right is a newer style (I got the drone brand new a few weeks ago) that does not have some small circuit board above the gimbal that is present in older models. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Assuming everything else on the drone is in working order, will purchasing the cable on the right restore my video signal?
