I am delighted to announce that I have now finished my ‘Zenmuse Ready’ version of my FPV Custom Undertray. The prototype print arrived today and everything checked out perfectly so I have put it on my Shapeways shop: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/d3wey

Anyone who isn't familiar with my other designs they can see them here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2082

It uses the same mounting system of 25mm Hex spacers as my previous one and the same TX holder (compatible with Fatshark and Immersion TX’s).

The non Zenmuse undertray allowed for a dual battery setup. One in the shell, one under the belly. Of course the Zenmuse takes up most of the room.... To combat the lack of room I added a ‘table’ behind the TX holder that is capable of taking my Battery Cage’s.

Anyway... pictures say a thousand words so here it is:

    Weight: 1297g with 2 x 2200mah, Zenmuse, Hero3 and Wiring.

In flight I got 10 mins with 2 well used 2200mah today. This was with stock props (killed my CF ones when i crashed my F450 the other week). Pics are here:

I am still uploading the ‘how it fits’ video (slow *** broadband!). I also did a test with the dual battery earlier today (again video is coming soon).

I wanted to get in on here as soon as possible purely due to the Shapeways Xmas deadline being 16th December for items under 20cm (this is about 18cm).

I also have the newer 4s version of the Fatshark Filter housing, and a finalised GTU10 holder. All online by the end of the evening.

    Awesome job!

Btw, anybody in the US who needs the 25mm spacers for this or his original FPV tray, let me know. I had to buy 25 (for $3) to get the 4 I needed, so I have some extras I'd be happy to drop in the mail.

Nice one Dewey - did you have any joy with the AeroXCraft one in the end from the pics I sent you? :)

Thanks guys! Always nice to hear some good feedback.

Just finished the a basic setup video for dual battery useage (wobbly head cam but it gets the point across!).

I have a 0.5mb/s upload speed so you can imagine the pain I feel when it comes to releasing a new design to the world! Thats what I get for being in a UK village!

Also just made the final tweaks to the clip on GTU10 holder which is now available (just had to make one part more rigid on the design):

@Gazhap - No sadly never got my teeth into the AeroXcraft designs. I got soooo close to actually buying that gimbal because I really wanted to use it on and off the Phantom. Then I saw and bought the F450/NAZA Mv2/Zenmuse deal (before the latest price drop :x but was still a good deal! :D ). I tried working with the pics but it really requires a 'hands on' approach to get anything that is truely 'real word' useable. I'd feel bad if people were paying their hard earned cash for something I'd never 100% confirmed working (even if they were warned before hand).

I've also been busy building and then re-building my F450 after a flyaway/crash (http://www.djiguys.com/Forum/viewtopic. ... 822c71a641 - caused by me doing a compass calibration in a bad area IMO), designing around the 450 frame and the Feiyu Tech FYG3 gimbal (which I was one of the first UK owners). Good gimbal and getting better with each update. Not Zenmuse or Aeroxcraft standard yet but Feiyu Tech have been good with listening to us users (via an RC Groups forum).

I just finished a held held kit for it (only to discover Feiyu tech have done their own and their is much prettier!).

I've set up a bunch of blogs for the Phantom, F450, Gimbal and Shapeways designs at RC Groups (helps me keep track of things!)... anyone brave enough to read more of my rablings can find it here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=499128

Video for the Garmin GTU10 holder is done now too for those interested. Shows a bit better how it fits onto the Phantom.

Is this mount readily available now for a Phantom 2 and a Vision? If so, how do I order? Thanks.

Should work just fine on the P2/P2V, just be sure to mount opposite of the compass and not right on top of it.
