Youtube auto scan is rubbish and blocks lots of things that it either indicates the completely wrong track or even videos with no music or images other then my own recordings. I have used audio I purchased or had been given by artists with full permission and still I had to file a dispute claim before it took a block of my video. This is when not using any copyrighted material, if you have material you dont have rights to then your out of options and are forced to deal with it however yt chooses for you. If you use music with full rights it still may get picked up by the scan and a dispute may never be processed.
I had a short stupid video filmed in my own backyard of my dog with no logo's or audio and this was blocked on a copyright violation. Maybe I needed the dogs paw print as tis was never resolved and I just deleted it 6 months later after I filed a dispute.
YT copyright infringement is regularly wrong even when you do everything the proper way so good luck with any music or images you dont have full rights to . In most cases if you have any content not yours music wise it will be blocked in Germany so German youtube must be a very quiet place. I had one video with commercial music blocked in over 200 countries once lol so I find it easier to just avoid music altogether. If your track is simply an audio issue then you can convert to music from youtube, this will disable any partner rights to your video but if its not your music or licensed you cant get any revenue out of it anyway as this must be 100% your own content or used with permission.
I even had a dispute with gopro directly regarding use of a photo of a gopro camera, I also used their logo in this video as many others do and this got me some emails from GoPro's legal department. Quite funny as they made one of my videos "Video of the day" and at the same time sent me a cease and desist email regarding use of their copyrighted images in another video.
YouTube has to try and act against copyright infringement and so has very random harsh crackdowns in some cases while letting 1000s of other videos go by with more infringements.
Just recently I had a video using Royalty free music I purchased get blocked for a copyright claim by some completely different song to what was used. I emailed them with my purchase and license details and also told them it was quite funny how I had 2 exact same versions of the same video one graded and the other showing it split between graded and ungraded. Only one was blocked for copyright infringement, after sending my dispute their action was to block both even though it was all my own content and licensed music
So to sum up my essay  safest is use no music but still may have issues, use youtube provided music as your next option, then go licensed or royalty free followed by taking your chances with any music. Always give credit but this still wont guarantee you wont have issues and if you are in Germany maybe just find a way around watching yt the regular way as nearly everything is blocked there.
