Caugth by rain

Hi guys. I'm asking for some advice of what to do if my PV non + was caught by light rain in the middle of a mission. It was like 600m from home when it start to rain, not heavily but persistent. It was about a couple of minutes getting slightly wet until I can catch it. I towel she immediately and will be sleeping in my freezed-dry room overnight without the battery. I don't think should open it but any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Just let it air out for a few days, stick it in a box of rice and leave it there for a while.

You definitely should open it up and look to see if there is any water or evidence of possible damage?
Plus you'll know for sure when it is dry if not already.
