Can I change settings for phone video during flight?

When flying, my phone (iPhone 7+) video is low res and often choppy. I don't think it was like that initially.
When I play videos from the card they're great, but in editor on the app, rough again.
Did I maybe change something in the settings unintentionally? Does it have something to do with video caching?

Not unusual ... suggest Force Stop all unnecessary apps and switch on AIRPLANE MODE - then make WiFi active.

If I remember rightly - App editor takes the low res cached video unless you dictate otherwise, to be honest - I always recc'd taking the SD card, transfer video to a PC and editing there ... you have much better control and larger screen to work with.

Most APPs editors are a gimmick in my view ...
