I have managed to get the 2.4ghz wifi card in the p3s remote to run externally. All I did was remove it from the remote supply + 4v to the two pins that say 3v3 and ground to the opposite side 2 gnd pins and that's it. I cut up a USB cord and used only the red and black wires too connect to the wifi card. Then I plugged the USB end too a 5v USB charge pack I had laying around and bam! It's working. I'll post the first flight results after I mount it to my 2.4panels then put it on top of my roof and see if it improves the range..any one else out there attempting this
