Brand new 2nd Battery, is it plug and play?

I just got a new P4A+ battery at Best Buy and am about to charge it. When it is done am i able to just put it in and fly or will i be prompted to do something?

Sorry i could not find my answer in any previous posts. I do remember a while back someone mentioned "updating a battery" and it has me concerned as i am not looking forward to any problems like i have had with this drone and its updates. Someone else one time mentioned that they had a problem when they swapped batteries while they were out. PS if it matters im on last firmware and not updating to the new firmware yet.

If the new battery needs updated, DJI GO will show an inconsistent firmware message on the home screen and prompt you to upgrade the firmware.
