If anyone is looking for some decent penetration and crazy range, a Blue Beam Ultra on the Phantom and the combination of a Blue Beam Ultra and TrueRC X2 on the receiver is impressive...!

It is not so much about the range but more about the fact that the video feed does not breakup without a ground station. According to the iosd it was 1.4km out 10ft off the ground. I am up on the north coast of Quebec doing bear surveys until the ice goes out. After that I will be flying supplies to remote villages.

The Tx is an AVL58. Will try the black mamba tomorrow on my other P2.

    the TrueRC 5.8GHz X²-AIR Antenna
the IBCrazy 5.8 GHz Bluebeam Ultra Antenna Set

I also bought a pair of Skyzone goggles but I am still waiting for the battery.
