Black Pearl Monitor Protective Shield

I put an iPad screen protector on my Black Pearl FlySight monitor to keep the screen protected. But I like the look and clarity MUCH better without. Does anyone know if these screens scratch easy or if they even need a protective shield?

Ok so maybe I should ask this: Are any of you using a screen protector on your FPV monitor? Have any of you scratched your monitor screen?
