Hello
I am to map 100 acres of bare land. The client wants a 3D model of the terrain to determine where to place his new trees.
I read an article that said for best photogrammetry results, there is an ideal angle of the sun that produces best results.
Do any of you take that into consideration?

Shadow angles should be considered. If you're flying over truly bare earth, shouldn't be an issue. For other situations, the ideal lighting would be those high thin clouds that provide bright diffused light with little or no shadows. Not having that, I try to time my missions so that shadows are pointing away from critical area. Of course, Mother Nature usually doesn't accommodate me
