Ok, so, since I've read soooo much about the battery door issue when installing a gimbal. I got mine in today. It's a Walkera G-2D metal brushless gimbal. I'm waiting for the remote lever to arrive before hooking it up the rest of the way. But, I did manage to get all the screws in place for the base. Of course I did have to fenagle my way.
It's simple. No need for stand off blocks. Remove the base and flip it around.
