2) How can I extend the range beyond 500m

3) How do you set up DJI go App to shoot UHD or 4k

No

With the standard you can't go great distances
Find a good interference-free area to get best distance and make sure you orient the antenna correctly

3) How do you set up DJI go App to shoot UHD or 4k

You need a 4K camera to shoot 4K.
The Standard doesn't have a 4K camera.

When you first start out the DJI Go App may restrict you to a beginners' mode with distance capped. Take a good look through your settings to remove that limit.

You can maximise flight time by flying when there is little or no wind. If you haven't already done so invest in a second battery, you will find that one isn't enough

Looking to get at least another two batteries. Even in 'Non beginner mode it is limiting me to 500m distance?

What about UHD?

For simplicity Ultra High Definition (UHD) and 4K are the same thing, not possible on a Phantom 3 Standard as the camera doesn’t support it.

Is it limiting you to exactly 500M? If so, perhaps you've enabled the "Enable Max Distance" option and it is set to a 500M distance limit. We see that here regularly since that option is so poorly labeled.

Disable the Enable Max Distance option if you do not want to set a max distance.
