Batteries: not 100% charging and LED never stop

I think I remember reading that to charge a battery 100%, you had to turn the battery on while charging. Does this sound right to you guys?

ONLY IF it is near fully charged and does not initiate charging automatically when attached to charger.

Are you plugging the battery directly into the charger and not into one of the multiple battery chargers ? From the photo it looks like you are but just asking.

I just had my first flight with two very week batteries. They were plugged in to the charger with it set to maintenance mode. Live and learn, or in this case.......fly and learn.! LOL
