I updated Pilot App via Google Play, but always keep a backup on my PC.

    I downloaded from: http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-3/download

I picked up an alert, I am 99% sure it is a false positive...

Anyone else get this alert on other antivirus?

    I am using Avast antivirus,

False positive. An .apk file on a PC is out of the ordinary, and considering that in the past there have been traces of viruses/worms contained in an .apk file, it likely just flags them to be on the safe side.

    Thanks!

I did not get this on previous occasions though, so was just wondering

    Teeheehee.

False positive but this thread put the greatest thought in my head.
US spend billions on surveillance with an associated PR nightmare.
If the Chinese could sell thousands of infected quads distributed around the globe flown by free and unsuspecting operators beaming footage home it would be the most brilliant plan ever, and a profit making one to boot!

I had that thought... especially since there is spying issues in the news currently... but I KNOW I am just being a conspiracy theorist... nothing to it...

That said my brother does aerial survey and he sends the images and data to the Chinese company who do the post work, his data loggers always come back with code altered.
