If you are looking to get a decent boost, the Dbs mods Itelite is a great antenna. Aprox $109-120
It has some weight, but It's not too bad with the lanyard, it pushes a lot of juice. 3-4 miles in town and as much range as your battery can give you in open areas.
That's what mine is. Just added boosters. It works well for the money.have u heard anything about these

I can't speak for boosted as I have never needed it here where I fly but the panel gets my vote and have been experimenting

That is correct. they are just antennas.
In town the Argtek could get me 800 meters, Dbs Itelite 1200 meters.

I did one of mine and the others just his site .Theres a vender here that sells them with his name on them but I believe they are just the same thing .
Yep!!! All you'll need is a1/4" drill bit. And a dab of hot glue. Plenty of videos on YouTube to walk you through it. 10 minute tops. Very easy mod. You will be amazed! Good luck
