Seems like a good idea for knowing when your battery is about to go out. I generally am within 1000' or less when flying so this might be a good idea for knowing when the batter is fading out over an onboard lipo alarm that you might not hear..

Seems like an interesting idea. The sky end is pretty light and probably a minuscule power drain. It's not my style, especially after installing OSD and having the voltage directly on the screen, but it probably has a niche to fill--I do like the idea better than those annoying low voltage buzzers (which I have but never used). Just don't forget to check the batteries on the receiver side.
