AirGear 350 question

I have a phantom 2 vision plus v3 with the 2312 960kv motors. I recently picked up some T-Motor AirGear 350 motors ( 2312 920kv) to install on the phantom. The new motors come with bullet connectors for connecting to the T-motor ESC's. Do I just cut those connectors off and solder the wires to the DJI ESC's, or do I need to get the T-Motor ESC's made for the new motors and replace the DJI ESC's ?
