2nd battery not performing like it should

    Hi fellow droners

    I received my Phantom 3 Pro about two weeks ago and received my second battery after a week. It formed part of the package I bought.

    The second battery seems to hold power much less than the first battery.

    Do you think I done something wrong? Is there something I can do to rectify the battery?

    Check individual cell voltages in the app.

    As I stated in another thread....

    Wonder if the new batteries they're pumping out have some flaws....in order to "cash in" and meet demand?...hmmm?

    Alot of sudden battery "freak out" stories surfacing....

    There is no firmware update for batteries at this time.

    Agree. So many threads now about new batteries not performing as well. I also commented in one of the threads that perhaps DJI was using inferior components to help meet insatiable demand for extra batteries. My comment was met with some resistance. The more popular theory was that new batteries would basically settle down with use.

    There are also things you can do to a battery to dramatically shorten its life.
    Hard to say how many are from poor use, or a faulty battery.
