5 days ago we had a nasty wind and rain storm that brought 28 foot waves and 73 mph winds that eroded the entire Southern shoreline of Lake Superior. MJ and I took a walk to see how bad the erosion was along the nearby beach at our friend's house. Last week the beach was about 6 feet wide and the dune was a 4 foot climb that we just barely got back up. Now the beach is about 15 feet wide and the climb is at least 5 feet with an overhang that I didn't feel comfortable attempting. You can see clumps of beach grass piled up along the surf line after having been eroded from the dune and swept off the beach.

The video was good, easy to see. Really, I would like to have seen the 25 ft. waves. Lol
That is the best time to metal detect. I would always get the old coins at the bottom of the dunes in Fl.
