A cave with an air current inflow will have lower pressure than outside. Drone crosses the mouth where pressure drops and the phantom sees it as a massive altitude increase? Plausible?
I would sure love some 4k video of me ripping it up while I still can, but I do not trust anyone else flying my drone over water. (no safe rth point available as it's a mountain Lake surrounded by tall trees)
Nice. Made some wake boarding video a few days ago that looks extremely clinical compared to yours. I seem to have no vision or style. Lots of good video the riders will enjoy watching but somehow avoided every perspective and beauty shot that were available. Great job.
This is a topic of interest to me also. I have been using my phantom 4 for knee board and wake boarding video. Makes me nervous flying 15' off the water. I somehow pressed the left stick down instead of the right and almost put it into the drink. I am going to neuter the altitude stick...
The waypoints I am referring to were created using the birds position and the custom button, not satellite position . The google satellite (and map) info in my area are no less than 15 years old and very low resolution, taken with the sun extremely low and deep into winter.
Litchi waypoints are not accurate enough. They seem to be plus or minus 20 feet. Useless at closer distance. Might work for filming a waterfall at 100' away but if the subject closer up (under 40' away waypoints and heading and poi are not going to cut it.
Yes, on my phone (note 4) the GPS location changed back and forth. Each time to one of the same 3 locations. I will be sure to manually record and check home location. It must have been a glitch in litchi because Google maps on the same phone did not jump.
My remotes Gps location changed back and forth between 3 locations in litchi. Both incorrect locations were two or three miles away and nowhere I or my phantom have ever been. 14 satellites were locked. I noticed it when my bird was warmed up and sitting while I was tweaking a waypoint...
I am doing construction at my paintball field and want to document it with a time lapse photo and want to automate the gimble angle, altitude and heading but it's either a guess on google maps or creating a waypoint, hovering over the target and dragging a poi onto that waypoint and then delete...
I used litchi for the first time the other day and I thought litchi was going to crash my drone. When it reduced altitude for the next waypoint it briefly sounded out of control. Anyone else find litchi really rammy?
