Been flying with my iPhone 6 as my screen since I got my P4 in June of last year. Things mostly good until recently.
In December I was flying out in Pennsylvania when it was cold (25 degrees F) and 10 minutes into the flight my phone (which had 90% battery charge to start) just....died. Thank...
just a thought and probably fairly easy.... couldn't you just keep your drone at the same altitude and take your own photos and use photoshop photo merge tool to merge them altogether and get a similar if not same result as shown above?
I've learned to adjust the horizon in post production (Premiere Pro) very quickly, like 15 seconds to adjust while editing my video. I can share how to do that if you'd like.

File > Export > Media...
Format: H.264
scroll down to video tab: Bitrate encoding: I do VBR 2 pass (higher quality)
Target Bitrate: 20
Maximum Bitrate: 25
I check maximum render quality.
EXPORT...
Also hold down the C2 button on the bottom of the remote while you are flying and turn the wheel (right side) for minor adjustments for a straight horizon too.
