I flew my P4 in windy conditions that caused me to lose control and land very hard. At first I didn't think it was serious, however, it was. I sent it in for an estimate. The first estimate was around $300 so I told them to proceed. A couple days later they called and found that there was an...
I forgot about that foam thingy...... flew a couple times before I realized it was there..... I am beginning to think that if I take off and realize that the camera is secured.... no damage will occur as long as I land immediately and remedy the situation.
Thanks.... I just don't want to cause a problem that I should be able to avoid. I am adding colorful tags, zip ties, etc to remind me to remove the clamp.... better safe than sorry.
I have taken off a number of time where I forgot to remove the device securing the camera for transportation. I usually didn't realize it until I tried to use the camera. Can this ultimately damage the camera???? So far I haven't noticed anything.

I ordered a Next Wave 5.8G module. I was hoping I could eliminate using...
This is the 4th such crash I have seen in forums. Things they all had in common: River and bridges. In some of these cases, pilots tried to fly under the bridges. Bottom line.... be careful around big bridges and bodies of water. It appears that both conditions are needed. I have seen many...
