As Jake would say from MaxxUAV it would still all be based on where your at and how much interference is in that area. I was able to go from 1500 ft around my house to almost 8000 ft give or take. Some guys on this forum were getting 20,000 plus and of course this was over water or wide open...

I have never really had a problem with them, they have my bird right now for some chip/crack in the body and two of the first gen batts for the spring cracking the plastic. I have the same setup and can get about a mile before interference kicks in. I'm also in the burbs and do not really have line of sight either. All depends on what's in the air. Stock I could get about 2000 ft and that's it. Have not tried any open area yet. Good luck and fly safe Sent from my...
