There seems to be a few alternatives to the Go Pro on the market now. Specifically, cameras that are close to the same size and shape. I'm planning to get the Zenmuse gimbal next, and was hoping to find a less expensive camera to the $300 Go Pro that will fit in the gimbal's custom camera...
Hey Mickey, I had two chats with the Blade people this week. The AP package has only just been released so there's little user feedback on it yet. I told them their company promo didn't give much indication as how stable the video is, but we should see user's videos soon, I should think. He...
Good question and here's my .02. I bought my Phantom after flying smaller quads like the WLtoys 959 with a camera for a year. I bought the Phantom 2 without a gimbal believing that I could rig a camera, and that the stability of the Phantom was enough to get good video. I regret not waiting...
Looking to pay a tech or user to calibrate my goodluckybuy gimbal. I have tried to get my Windows 7 PC to recognize my GLB gimbal and software to calibrate it, and it's not working for me. I gave up. I know plenty of guys are having success though. The pitch arm works fine, but the banking...

I recently captured some aerial footage at a navy station (with approval). The gimbal mounting was loose, so unfortunately I got some shaking as the Phantom headed into the wind. Phantom 2, GLB gimbal and Mobius camera.

I noticed that recent ads for the GLB gimbal have the small red JST power connector rather than the white plug that connects directly to the lipo battery. Does the change make it possible to plug directly into the Phantom power? I have the Phantom 2.
The mount on the GL-2X looks smaller than the silver gimbal. I use a Mobius rather than a GoPro camera. Hard to tell if the Mobius will fit. Anyone know?
I've got the Phantom 2. I'd like to rig the taller legs but I have a question: I noticed that the factory leg that has the gray cable running through it, well, the plug at the end won't fit through the hole at the screw mount. How do you remove the factory legs and get all the wiring through...
