I think it would be better to insure your future drone for these kind of things. I insured mine with State Farm for $60 a year. Lost/Damaged/Theft, all covered if I remember right. I learnt that here in this forum.

If cosmetic value is not that important, can you use Red color reflective tape? It won't look nice but may help you spot the drone a little easily.

I have the same kind of question. I have a used Fatshark Dominator V1 and is there any SIMPLE way to hook it up? Not a fan of messing with innards but will try if it's relatively simple.
