I’m with Geoelectro: This should be legally protested! This ‘dog tag’ could be made out of any number of plastics which would cause no potential interference with the safe operation of the drone. However, I do like that the Dutch government has implemented this identification system...

Just my thoughts. BUT It seems to me that the plastics that DJI are using are rather low on the evolutionary scale of plastic. Seams coming apart; stress cracks here and there withOUT crashes or dropping. I do realize that you dropped your battery here, but a drop from 2-3 feet as you describe...

Basic stuff here BUT, I'm assuming you've made sure that your antennae are properly aligned and parallel with their flat sides pointing upward toward the bird? Had a friend of mine with this issue; he had no idea that the antennae were this critical. --- Duh!

With my larger full-sized sensor in my SLR, I could have taken this shot out of the window of my car without even having to open the door. Wouldn't need to get out of my warm vehicle to set up the drone with freezing fingers, then worry about flying the thing with reduced battery life because...
