Did you take off south of Chandler? That is great range. I am in Tucson and head to the desert between Tucson and Mesa to fly. Minimal interference from cars and pedestrians. I always get nervous around major roadways.

I have the same except one panel says 6dbi. I am not an expert on antennas in this situation but, can you increase the dbi and extend the range even more?

Just went out tonight and after the down grade to 1.5 I nearly doubled my distance. I have the ARGTek mod. Went from 3300ft to over 6400ft before RTH kicked in. I was in open desert and no housing what so ever.
