I have a shield K1 still in hibernation from the winter along with my P3P. Waiting to wake them up until the new update. I have not yet done the nougat update and have been concerned after reading the GO app crashes on it. Any thoughts on if the GO app update might also address this issue...

Have not been there, but know where it is. I have obtained permission to fly at one of the Quartz crystal mines, but haven't done it yet. I travel a bit and won't be home for any long period of time until march. We will have to get together at some point though. Nikev

OK so I upgraded my P3P from 1.1.9 I believe up to 1.3.2 then on to 1.8. Didn't think about having 4 batteries. My one battery works fine, but the other 3 day need upgrade. The batteries won't make the jump to the new firmware, I think because of the 1.3. The bird now won't downgrade that far...

Thanks msinger When it prompts for the update will I have the option to decline and if so any idea if the current app will fly the bird with the old firmware? Eventually plan to update, but hope to at least fly a bit when I first activate. Nikev
