P3P with new shield k1.
Updated aircraft and RC and app on Nov 26 2016. Everything flew perfect.
Life got in the way since (illness).
I try to stay up to date here. Tried to fly yesterday. I knew not to update the K1 and didn't.
On power up of GO app I had forced update of app. No choice to ignore only option web or google update.
After update I powered up and asked for compass calibration even though it was same location as last flight. Had to do it twice before Green good to fly. 16 sats
Upon auto takeoff I noticed quite a bit of drift, approximately 2 feet both vertical and horizontal.
Still in beginner mode. Eased out to edge of mode, upon notice of limit reached I got critical low battery warning even though could see 3 bars on the battery. Got another random error then disconnected notice.
Still had control and landed aircraft.
Have since deleted and reloaded app and the K1 will no longer connect. The app just shows how to connect not the camera click.
K1 still says version 5.1 operating system.
Suggestions?
I have a nexus 9 and an iPhone 6 that I could try.
But bought the K1 from the advice on here.
Again was rock solid on this setup in Nov.
I'm at work now, but have firmware numbers at home, was fully updated in November.
