I send an email to DJI asking if they plan to support Oculus Rift in the Vision Mobile app for FPV.
They emailed me saying that Oculus rift will not be supported by the phantom vision app. However Lightbride may support Oculus Rift in the future.
Yes I'm planning on trying to have a full page image for each tip explaining each item so it should be very easy to understand with the real life visuals.

Personally I don't think its a good idea to install firmware from another model phantom. Its lucky that they are so similar and doesn't make the phantom a paperweight.

it does both, however you can only control up and down.
It only pans left/right when the phantom itself turns and it does a slow pan to make the video less jerky. it can only pan slightly or the landing gear would show up in frame.
