I ran the update for the P2V iPhone app. Now each and every time I swipe to the ground station portion the app crashes. What's up with that? Has anyone contacted the app programmers at DJI? Anyone got any ideas?

The original pics were at the lowest quality setting. The latest ones are at the highest resolution. This lake bed is a most excellent place to fly. Wide open and you see for miles.

My P2V is set at 1080p 30fps. These are the same settings I use on my two GoPro cameras. I tweaked some of the camera settings to get the best exposure. If the sun is at your back the pictures can be epic.

These were taken in Northern California. The location is Lake Shastina. These are pictures of the lake bed as it dries up due to the drought. I shot these about 8 am in the morning.

I owned the original Phantom for more than a year. I just purchased a P2V and could not be happier. I understand the max range for WiFi purposes is 300m. I also understand I do not want to go above 400'. That said if I were not concerned with either of these limits, just how far distance wise...

Lithium batteries have a memory of sorts. I tell my computer science students that once a month they should discharge the Lithium batteries in all of their devices (lap tops, phones, tablets, digital cameras, etc.) and then fully recharge them. That way their batteries will not loose their total...
